BIOGRAPHY  

DJ and music producer Carlos Aguilar, known professionally as YOKO AKA, began his journey in electronic music in mid-2010 in Venezuela, his home country. His artistic approach is deeply influenced by the underground movement, developing a sound focused on deep house, tech house, house, and minimal/deep tech.

Throughout his career, YOKO AKA has brought his music to various cities in Venezuela, as well as Ecuador, Italy, and Spain, where he has been living since 2019. This international experience has enriched his musical vision and strengthened his ability to connect with audiences, incorporating innovations according to the cultural context of each place and consolidating a solid and versatile sonic identity.

His work combines a constant connection with the dance floor, a carefully curated musical selection, and a strong commitment to artistic evolution within the electronic scene, while continuing to expand his horizons and engage in projects at an international level.
